# List

GET https://api.taktoria.com/api/v1/audit-logs

The workspace's audit log, newest first. Needs `auditLogs:read`; a
session, a workspace admin's.

Reference: https://docs.taktoria.com/api-reference/audit-logs/list

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Servers

- `https://api.taktoria.com/api/v1` (Production, default)
- `http://localhost:3000/api/v1` (Local)

## Request

### Query parameters

- `actorId` (string, optional) — Only what this person (or key) did.
- `action` (string, optional) — Events starting with this, such as `launch.` or `member.deleted`.
- `since` (datetime, optional) — From this moment on.
- `until` (datetime, optional) — Before this moment.
- `limit` (integer, optional)
- `cursor` (string, optional)

## Response

### 200

- `data` (list of AuditLogEvent, required)
- `hasMore` (boolean, required)
- `nextCursor` (string, optional) — Pass as `cursor` for the next page; null on the last.

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

- `error` (ErrorDetail, required)

### 403 Forbidden Error

Refused, and `error.code` says why. On an app's write endpoints, a signed-in session is refused `viewer_only` when the person is a Viewer of the app (they read it, and change nothing in it), and `seat_required` without a seat on it; a key is never either. Beyond those: `admin_required` when the change is an admin's (an app admin's for an app's admin powers, a workspace admin's for the workspace's settings), `forbidden` when the person may not change this one thing, `read_only_session` for a change only a key makes, `person_required` for what only a signed-in person does through their own account elsewhere (exporting a LaunchCal artifact to their docs tool), which a key cannot, `insufficient_scope` for a key without the scope, and `google_sign_in_required` for a session the workspace's Google rule turns away. Nothing was done.

- `error` (ErrorDetail, required)

### 422 Validation Error

- `error` (ErrorDetail, required)

### 429 Too Many Requests Error

Rate limited (`rate_limited`): the key, the signed-in person, the workspace or an expensive endpoint's own budget is used up for now. `Retry-After` says how many seconds to wait, and `details` names the `policy`, its `limit`, `windowSeconds` and `retryAfter`. Every answer to an authenticated request carries the IETF `RateLimit-Policy` and `RateLimit` headers, so a client can slow down before it gets this. Nothing was done; wait and send it again. See "Rate limits".

- `error` (ErrorDetail, required)

## Types

### AuditLogEvent

One change made in the workspace. Recorded for every create, update and delete somebody makes, in the app or through the API; never edited.

- `id` (string, required)
- `actor` (AuditActor, required)
- `action` (string, required) — The record's kind and the change, such as `launch.updated` or `api_key.deleted`.
- `context` (AuditContext, required)
- `targets` (list of AuditTarget, required)
- `version` (integer, required)
- `metadata` (map from string to any, required) — `changes` on an update (each `field`, `old_value` and `new_value`; secrets read `__REDACTED__`, and what another system's people wrote, such as a post a ticketing sync brought in, `__WITHHELD__`), `values` on a create or delete, `count` and `where` on a change to many records at once.
- `occurred_at` (datetime, required)

### ErrorDetail

- `code` (string, required) — A stable machine-readable code such as `not_found`.
- `message` (string, required)
- `details` (any, optional)

### AuditActor

- `type` (string, required) — `user`, `api_key` or `system`. A `system` actor has no `id`, and is named after what acted: a ticketing system's daily sync, say, or Atlassian erasing what Jira brought in.
- `metadata` (map from string to any, required) — `role`, `org_id`, `auth_type` (`session`, `api-key`, `oauth` for an AI assistant connected through MCP, `slack` for a command typed in Slack (`/golinks`, `/dory`, `/memegen`, `/launchcal`), or `system`) and, through a key, `api_key_id`; through MCP, `oauth_client_id` and `oauth_client_name`; from Slack, `slack_team_id` and `slack_user_id`.
- `id` (string, optional)
- `name` (string, optional)

### AuditContext

- `location` (string, optional) — The client's IP address.
- `user_agent` (string, optional)

### AuditTarget

- `type` (string, required) — The record's kind, such as `launch` or `key_result`.
- `id` (string, optional)
- `name` (string, optional)
