# Get Presenter Queue

GET https://api.taktoria.com/api/v1/dory/events/{eventId}/queue

What the presenter screen works from: the question on the big screen
and the approved ones waiting behind it, in the room's order. Pass
`current.id` as `currentId` to `POST /queue/next`. Needs
`questions:read`.

Reference: https://docs.taktoria.com/api-reference/dory/get-presenter-queue

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Servers

- `https://api.taktoria.com/api/v1` (Production, default)
- `http://localhost:3000/api/v1` (Local)

## Request

### Path parameters

- `eventId` (string, required)

## Response

### 200

- `upNext` (list of Question, required) — The first eight approved questions waiting, as the screen lists them: `current` is never among them.
- `waitingCount` (integer, required) — Every approved question waiting, beyond the eight in `upNext` too.
- `answeredCount` (integer, required)
- `current` (Question, optional) — The question on the big screen (`highlighted`); absent when the screen is clear.

## Errors

### 404 Not Found Error

- `error` (ErrorDetail, required)

### 429 Too Many Requests Error

Rate limited (`rate_limited`): the key, the signed-in person, the workspace or an expensive endpoint's own budget is used up for now. `Retry-After` says how many seconds to wait, and `details` names the `policy`, its `limit`, `windowSeconds` and `retryAfter`. Every answer to an authenticated request carries the IETF `RateLimit-Policy` and `RateLimit` headers, so a client can slow down before it gets this. Nothing was done; wait and send it again. See "Rate limits".

- `error` (ErrorDetail, required)

## Types

### Question

- `id` (string, required)
- `eventId` (string, required)
- `body` (string, required)
- `status` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `PENDING`, `APPROVED`, `ANSWERED`, `DISMISSED`
- `isAnonymous` (boolean, required)
- `highlighted` (boolean, required) — On the presenter screen. Only one question in an event is highlighted at a time, and never a dismissed one.
- `upvoteCount` (integer, required)
- `createdAt` (datetime, required)
- `updatedAt` (datetime, required)
- `answerText` (string, optional)
- `answeredAt` (datetime, optional) — When it moved into ANSWERED. Kept while it stays answered, so a second answer does not move it; cleared when it moves out.
- `editedAt` (datetime, optional) — Set when the asker rewrote it after the room had voted.
- `asker` (Asker, optional) — Who asked. Absent on an anonymous question: the participant row exists so that one person cannot vote twice, and handing it back through a key would undo the promise made to whoever asked.

### ErrorDetail

- `code` (string, required) — A stable machine-readable code such as `not_found`.
- `message` (string, required)
- `details` (any, optional)

### Asker

Who asked. Absent on an anonymous question: the participant row exists so that one person cannot vote twice, and handing it back through a key would undo the promise made to whoever asked.

- `participantId` (string, required)
- `displayName` (string, optional)
- `user` (User, optional) — A person in a Taktoria organization.

### User

A person in a Taktoria organization.

- `id` (string, required)
- `name` (string, required)
- `email` (string, required)
- `image` (string, optional) — Their picture: one uploaded on the account page, or else their Google profile picture, brought in when they sign in with Google.
